Rising Stars to Shine: Afriyea Golf Academy’s Inaugural Par 3 Championship 2024 Unveiled

The Afriyea Golf Academy, in collaboration with The Social Golfer, a leading online golf club based in the UK, is set to host the first-ever Par 3 Championship in Fort Portal, Uganda. Scheduled for Friday, February 2nd, at Toro Club, this junior golf tournament promises to highlight the talents and potential of young golfers from the region. With the backing of sponsors and supporters GoGoGo Sport, and the determination of the participants, the championship aims to establish a platform to nurture and cultivate the future stars of the sport.

Edward Rubogonya, an aspiring junior golfer participating in the tournament, expressed his readiness for the Par 3 Championship, acknowledging the tough competition that lies ahead. Despite the challenge, Rubogonya is determined to deliver an impressive performance, emphasizing his dedication to the sport and his desire to succeed in this prestigious event.
