NEC comes into the match after a 1-0 victory against Gaddafi Football Club, while Maroons played a goalless draw with league leaders, Kitara Football Club.

In their last encounter, NEC won 1-0 thanks to Allan Mugalu’s goal.

A win for NEC would push them temporarily into third place, while a victory for Maroons could move them from sixth to fourth place.

However, NEC has won three of their last five league fixtures, while Maroons are winless in their last five matches.

The match will be broadcast live on Sanyuka Prime, starting at 7 pm.

In another encounter , Mbarara City  hosts Gaddafi  at Kakyeka Stadium at 4 pm, with both teams eager to return to winning ways.

Mbarara City drew their last game against Bright Stars, while Gaddafi FC suffered a defeat against NEC.

Notably, Gaddafi  won the previous encounter between these two teams, 2-1 at the Gaddafi Arena.

At the Muteesa II Stadium, Express Football Club will welcome Wakiso Giants Football Club at 4 pm.

Both teams suffered defeats in their previous league matches, with Express FC losing to SC Villa and Wakiso Giants  falling to Vipers Sports Club.

Express  will be determined to distance themselves further from the relegation zone.

Currently placed 8th in the table with 29 points from 20 matches, the Red Eagles sit comfortably 13 points above the drop zone.

Meanwhile, Wakiso Giants find themselves in 12th position with 20 points from 20 matches, only four points clear of relegation.

The previous encounter between Express and Wakiso Giants ended in a goalless draw at Kabaka Kyabaggu Sports Stadium.
