Uganda Golf Club Prepares for 2024 Lady Captain’s Prize

The Uganda Golf Club (UGC) Lady Captain’s Prize organizers are working hard to get ready for what looks to be an amazing event in 2024. Over 200 golfers are expected to take part at UGC’s par-72 course in Kitante.

The event marks the end of each term of the UGC Lady Captain. Wendy Angudeyo was reelected as Lady Captain for a second term, leading the new executive, which includes Sarah Nduhukire (Vice Lady Captain), Hon. Patience Nkunda (Secretary), Berna Musanabera (Treasurer), and Flavia Namakula (Competitions Secretary). Over 200 golfers are expected to participate in the event.
The Lady Captain shared with the media her expectation of a fully booked course on Saturday. According to the organisers, the volume of entries had already surpassed expectations, indicating an overwhelming response from participants.
“We look forward to many people participating on Saturday, come we vibe and we shall have a blast. It promises to be an exhilarating experience, and we are confident that everyone will have a fantastic time,” says Angudeyo.
Over 200 golfers are expected to be participating in the event this Saturday in the different categories. The mode of play will be medal full handicap.
