The draw for the semifinals of the 2023/24 Stanbic Uganda Cup was held at the FUFA Complex in Mengo.
In the first fixture, Kitara FC, who secured a dramatic victory over reigning champions Vipers in the quarterfinals, will clash with Pajule Lions, a surprise package from the regional league.
Kitara who are also title contenders in the Startimes Uganda Premier League are looked at as one of the title hopefuls in the tournament. Pajule Lions will look to keep their unbelievable run in the tournament to shock Kitara.
In the other fixture, current Startimes Uganda Premier League table leaders BUL FC will face off against the Lugogo-based NEC FC. BUL FC secured their place in the semis by overcoming KCCA while NEC FC clinched a convincing victory over Police to make it to the semis.
The semifinal matches are scheduled to be played over two legs, with the initial fixtures slated for April 27-28.
