The match, which took place amidst an atmosphere of anticipation at the tournament’s opening, showcased the competitive spirit and skill of both teams.
Goals from Edrine Kagende, Stephen Namuwanda, and Richard Wandyaka propelled Obutiko to victory, as they managed to edge past their opponents. Jerome Nsubuga, serving as goalkeeper for Obutiko, played a pivotal role in guarding their net, contributing to the team’s defensive solidity.
Despite the loss, Mmamba Namakaka demonstrated resilience, with second-half substitute John Wesley Kisakye netting two consolation goals for his team, keeping the match fiercely contested until the final whistle.

Mmamba Namakaka secured the second position, receiving silver medals and Ugandan Shillings 5,000,000 as runners-up.
Ngeye clinched the third position in the netball competition, with Njovu finishing in fourth place. Shadia Nassanga of Njovu emerged as the top scorer of the tournament, netting an impressive total of 168 goals. Joan Nantongo of Nnyonyi Nyange was honored as the tournament’s most valuable player, recognizing her outstanding contributions to her team’s success.
