All is set for the highly anticipated World Athletics Relays happening on the 4th and 5th May at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas.
The competition will feature athletes from around the globe showcasing their talents across five relay events such as the Women’s 4x100m and 4x400m and the Men’s 4x100m and 4x400m, as well as the dynamic Mixed 4x400m relay.
The top eight teams in each event will receive monetary rewards, with the winning team in each event pocketing US$40,000, while world record-breaking performances could earn teams an additional bonus of US$50,000, subject to record ratification.
Beyond the financial rewards, the World Athletics Relays also offer a pathway to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with the top 14 teams in each event automatically securing qualification for the Olympics, with the remaining spots to be allocated based on top lists during the qualification period.
