The Kamodo Crew has teamed up with MTN Uganda for the Fayaaa campaign, aimed at rallying fans to get behind the Uganda Cranes. Dressed in Uganda Cranes jerseys and equipped with vuvuzelas, Uganda flags, and torches branded with MTN labels, the crew aims to energize fans and encourage participation in the interactive initiative.
The Kamodo Crew’s leader, Kamodo, expressed his confidence in their ability to lead the cheers.
“I believe no one is better than me in blowing the vuvuzela in Uganda. I know I am finer in puff,” he stated.
“We call on all Ugandans to vote for us, the Kamodo Crew, to be Uganda’s cheerleaders at Namboole on June 7th for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers,” he added.
Uganda is set to face Botswana on June 7th at 7:00 PM, followed by a match against Algeria on June 10th at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available at various locations including the FUFA complex in Mengo, MTN MOMO, and Tangosport in Jinja.
Known for their energetic performances, the Kamodo Crew, which specializes in blowing vuvuzelas, singing, dancing, and cheering, has confirmed their participation in the cheerleader competition.
“Let’s make our country proud and show the world what we’re capable of,” they urged. “Vote for us and let’s win this together!”
Ugandans can participate in the MTN Uganda Cranes Fayaaa Call to Action Campaign by submitting their scripts and videos. The top three finalists will win significant prizes from MTN.
