The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has announced the launch of the FUFA Volunteer Programme, designed to enhance service delivery during match days and FUFA events.
This initiative aims to involve volunteers in various roles, contributing to the smooth execution of events and improving the overall experience for fans, players, and guests.
Under the FUFA Volunteer Programme, volunteers will engage in activities such as planning, guiding, transporting, welcoming teams, carrying flags, and serving as ball boys/girls, among other tasks designated by event or match organizers.
The application period for the volunteer programme opens on May 31, 2024, and will close on June 2, 2024.
Interested individuals must fill out an application form on the FUFA Website, participate in an interview, accept the role if offered, attend training sessions, and select their shifts based on the listed activities and assignments.
Despite the voluntary and unpaid nature of this commitment, successful applicants will receive various benefits and the chance to gain invaluable experience by being part of FUFA events.
