The momentum shifted once again in the third quarter, with the Panthers taking a slim lead of 61-58. In the tense final period, the Panthers held on to their lead, ultimately securing the victory with a final score of 72-70.
Notable performances from Caesar Kizito, who scored 18 points and secured 2 rebounds, alongside Okumu Demunu Emmanuel, with 13 points and an impressive 9 rebounds, fueled the Panthers’ comeback.
However, the UCU Canons put up a formidable fight, with Kayiira Joel leading the charge with 13 points and an impressive 10 rebounds. Despite their efforts, they fell just short of securing the win.
The match came down to the wire, with the KCCA Panthers maintaining a narrow lead in the final moments, ultimately securing the win by a mere two points.
