After clinching the 2023/24 FUFA Women Elite League last week, She Corporate FC have added the 2024 FUFA Women’s Cup to their collection.
Hassan Isa’s charges defeated Rines SS WFC 5-4 in the penalty shootouts following a goalless draw in normal time at Standard High School Zzana, Ndejje Campus playground on Sunday evening.
At the end of the regular season, the Nakawa-based outfit topped the Elizabeth Group hence earning promotion back to the FUFA Women Super League after their relegation in the 2022/23 campaign.
They would later beat Olila High School WFC who won the Victoria Group, 6-5 in the shootouts after a barren stalemate after the 90 minutes to emerge as the overall FWEL champions.
By winning this year’s Women’s Cup, She Corporate dethroned Uganda Martyrs Ladies FC who won it in 2023.
