In an intense match held at the MTN Arena, Our Savior emerged victorious over the KCCA Panthers with a final score of 80-61 in the NBL Men’s division.
Our Savior led throughout the game, finishing the first quarter with a 23-13 advantage. Despite a closely contested second quarter, where both teams scored 14 and 15 points respectively, Our Savior maintained their lead into the half.
The third and fourth quarters saw Our Savior extend their dominance, ending with a 21-17 and 22-16 run respectively, securing a decisive victory.
Moses Mugisha was a standout performer for Our Savior, contributing 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Henry Ssebagala added 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Mayer Maker chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds.
Joseph Wacha also played a crucial role with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and a team-high 9 assists.
On the opposing side, the KCCA Panthers struggled to keep pace. Caesar Kizito led his team with 10 points and 5 rebounds, and Stephen Otoa recorded a double-double with 7 points and 10 rebounds. Despite their efforts, the Panthers were unable to overcome the consistent pressure from Our Savior.
