Masaka Giants have increased their advantage at the top of the Uganda National Ludo Super League table after a 3-1 victory over their closest rivals Ntinda United.
The Giants’ win over the Ntinda side on Matchday 13 extended their lead at the top to 2 points, further showcasing their dominance in the league.
Meanwhile, the matchday also saw some other thrilling action across the board. Nakawa Market suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Kiboga Young, while Kazo Hill were on the receiving end of a 4-1 drubbing by Buloba A.
In other results, Najjemba and Gulu City played out a 2-2 draw, while Nansana All Stars lost 2-1 to Bulemezi, with the final set being abandoned and referred to the organising committee for a final decision.
The table now sees Masaka Giants firmly in the driving seat with 24 points, followed by Ntinda United with 22 points.
Nakawa Market and Kazo Hill are tied on 17 points, while Bulemezi, Buloba A, and Kiboga Young are all on 16 points, highlighting the close-knit nature of the league.
Najjemba, Gulu City and Nansana All Stars are trailing in 8th, 9th and 10th, with 13, 12 and 10 points respectively.
As the season continues to unfold, the excitement is set to reach fever pitch as the teams gear up for match day 14, which is scheduled for Sunday, July 14th, 2024.

Masaka Giants will be aiming to extend their lead at the top of the table when they face seventh-placed Kiboga Young.
