Both 63kg lightweight boxers underwent health checks and weigh-ins during today’s face-off, confirming they are in shape and well-prepared.

Amoko Innocent, who made his debut with the national team at the All Africa Games in Ghana, says he is very ready for tomorrow’s fight.

“I have trained hard for this match and I am confident in my abilities. Tomorrow will be a great fight,” said Amoko.

Adinan Yasin, who joined the Champions League with a wild card and is a former Bomber and champion, says he is back to win.

“I am here to reclaim my title and show that I still have what it takes,” stated Adinan.

In another exciting match, Kimera Moses, a gold medalist in the 51kg flyweight at the National Open, will face Kasozi Frank, a belt holder and champion in flyweight. This will be their first meeting, and both boxers have expressed their determination to win.

Among the female fighters competing tomorrow, Abwoli Mwajuma from UPDF and Namitala Daphine, both in the light bantam juniors category, shared their thoughts on the upcoming bouts. They expressed readiness and eagerness to showcase their skills in the ring.

UBF Competition Manager Nakkazi Michelle confirmed tomorrow’s event and highlighted what fans should expect.

“We have an exciting lineup of fights, and fans should expect top-notch boxing action. The athletes are well-prepared, and it’s going to be a thrilling day of competition,” said Nakkazi.
