The Uganda Boxing Champions League is heating up as Shakibu Kyeyune from Lukanga Boxing Club and Kaddu Julius from Katabi Boxing Club prepare to clash in a highly anticipated lightweight bout at 60kgs.
The encounter, set to take place at the MTN Indoor Arena in Lugogo, promises to be a thrilling spectacle.
The tension between the two boxers was palpable during their face-off at the National Council of Sports in Lugogo, where they exchanged fiery words ahead of the competition.
Shakibu Kyeyune, exuding confidence, boldly declared, “I’m going to beat Kaddu and offer him a boxing scholarship in a private school. I’ll teach him boxing and show him the ropes.”
Kaddu Julius, undeterred by Shakibu’s remarks, fired back with his own confident retort.
“Shakibu will be reading books tomorrow, but I’ll be teaching him a lesson in the ring. I’ll beat him and stand tall. It’s different when you come from Entebbe Road and when you come from Entebbe itself,” he said confidently.
This exchange of trash talk has only added to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the bout.
Shakibu and Kaddu both called upon their supporters to come out in force and cheer them on.
