UPL: KCCA Host URA In Opener As 2024/25 Fixtures Are Released

The fixtures for 2024/25 StarTimes Uganda Premier League campaign were announced on Friday night with epic encounters to look forward to on match-day one and throughout the season.

The new campaign will kickoff on Friday, September 13 with a blockbuster between KCCA and URA at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Mac Allister Snatches Late Winner in City Ground Chaos

When the season will climax is also a key date to note, that is on Saturday, May 24 with BUL against Vipers the game of the day.

During match-day one, there will be a doubleheader at the refurbished Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo on Saturday, September 14.

Newbies Lugazi and Mbale Heroes will play as hosts and visitors against Kitara and Express, respectively.

SC Villa will begin their title defence against Mbarara City at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Monday, September 16.

On the same day, last season’s title contenders BUL will visit FUFA Big League champions Police at Kavumba Recreation Ground in Wakiso.

Meanwhile, 2024/25 title favourites, Vipers will welcome last season’s survivors UPDF to St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Sunday, September 15.

As usual, it is worth noting all these fixtures are subject to adjustments.

Police vs BUL – Kavumba
Villa vs Mbara City – Namboole
