Jinja-based BUL Football Club have secured the signature of promising midfielder Isaac “Messi” Musiima from Ntugasanze Football Club on a three-year contract.
Isaac Musiima, commonly known as “Messi” among his peers, is set to bring a spark to the team’s midfield with his impressive track record and hunger for success.
The 2003-born talent, known for his exceptional skill and eye for goal, had an outstanding season at Ntugasanze, where he netted 11 goals, making him one of the most exciting prospects in Ugandan football.
His prowess on the field didn’t stop there—Musiima played a pivotal role in leading Bulemezi to victory in the 2023 Masaza Cup, further solidifying his reputation as a top-tier talent. He also claimed the top scorer title in 2021 while showcasing his talent for Buwekula.
In his first statement as a BUL player, Musiima expressed his excitement about joining a club with such a rich history and ambitious goals.
“I chose BUL because it’s a big team with big ambitions, and I’m an ambitious person with a winning mentality. The competition at BUL will help me become a better player, as I love competition. I’m here to add value to the club and win trophies,” the soft-spoken yet determined midfielder shared.
BUL’s head coach, Abbey Kikomeko Bogere, couldn’t be more pleased with the acquisition of Musiima.
“Isaac is a very skilled and speedy midfielder who will add value to our team. With him on board, a lot of creativity should be expected in the midfield,” Bogere said.
