The Uganda Premier League (UPL) is set to benefit from FIFA’s global initiative to elevate club football management.
All the sixteen top-flight clubs will participate in a two-day FIFA Club Professionalisation and Management Workshop scheduled for October 31st and November 1st, 2024, at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kampala.
This workshop aligns with FIFA’s broader strategy to enhance the professionalization and management aspects of top-flight leagues worldwide.
By providing clubs with the latest insights and tools, FIFA aims to empower them to operate more efficiently and sustainably.
Key stakeholders, including club chairpersons and CEOs, will gather to delve into various topics crucial to modern football club management.
These topics are expected to cover areas such as financial management, legal and regulatory compliance, commercial partnerships, marketing and branding, human resources and talent management as well as stadium management and fan experience.
By participating in this workshop, UPL clubs will gain valuable knowledge and skills to elevate their operations to international standards.
This initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the overall quality and competitiveness of the league.
