KCCA Fans Executive, in collaboration with Felom Company Limited and the Kampala Capital City Authority, has launched a player recognition program to celebrate and reward outstanding performances during the 2024/2025 season.
The initiative aims to honor the dedication and talent of KCCA players by introducing three prestigious awards named after legendary figures in the club’s history.
Deins Okot Man of the Match Award: Each game, the standout player will be recognized as the “Man of the Match” and receive a medal and a cash prize of UGX 200,000.
Frank Kyazze Player of the Month Award: A monthly accolade will be bestowed upon the most impressive player, who will be awarded a medal, certificate, and a cash prize of UGX 500,000.
Moses Nsubuga Player of the Season Award: The ultimate recognition will be given to the player who excels throughout the season.
The winner will receive a medal, certificate, a customized plaque, and a substantial cash prize of UGX 1,000,000.
To ensure a democratic and fan-centric approach, the voting process will involve a combination of public opinion and expert judgment.
Fans will have a significant say, contributing 60% to the final decision, while a selected panel of judges will account for the remaining 40%.
