The fourth edition of the Odilo Primary School Championship commenced on Sunday November 10 in Njeru. This annual tournament, initiated in 2019, brings together eight of the country’s top primary schools from diverse regions.
The participating schools are divided into two groups:
Group A:
* Aterai Primary School (North East)
* Source of Light P/S (Kitara)
* Good Foundation Primary School (Buganda)
* Ineza Parents School (Western)
Group B:
* Prime View Education Center (Eastern)
* Hope Foundation P/S (Northern)
* Habanom Quality Academy (Kampala)
* Oasis Schools (West Nile)
The tournament will conclude with the boys’ category starting next Saturday. The winners of this prestigious event will have the honor of representing Uganda at the East African level.
Day One Results
The first day of the competition saw some exciting matches:
* Good Foundation PS defeated Source of Light 11-0.
* Aterai Primary School triumphed over Ineza Parents 2-0.
* Oasis Primary School and Prime View Education Centre drew 1-1.
* Hope Foundation PS and Habanom Quality Academy played to a goalless draw.
