Heathens Star Mugisha Heads to Chile on Loan

Heathens Rugby Club have confirmed that star player Timothy Mugisha will be temporarily joining Old Gabs Rugby Club in Chile for the 2024-2025 season.

This unique loan arrangement comes as Mugisha and his family recently welcomed a baby girl in Chile.

The move aims to ensure that the talented player remains actively involved in competitive rugby while supporting his family abroad.

The agreement allows Mugisha to train and play with Old Gabs, while also providing flexibility for a potential return to Uganda if necessary.

Heathens say that the partnership with Old Gabs not only benefits Mugisha’s career but also opens doors for future collaborations between the two clubs.

Heathens also confirmed that the Uganda Rugby Union was instrumental in facilitating this arrangement, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
