KCCA Football Club have partnered with Kyadondo Secondary School. The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Monday, marking a significant step in fostering young football talent.
The partnership aims to leverage the expertise of KCCA to enhance the football program at Kyadondo SS.
The school will become the fourth addition to KCCA’s network of Schools of Excellence, joining Kibuli Senior Secondary School, Masaka Secondary School, and Old Kampala Secondary School.
“We are thrilled to partner with Kyadondo SS,” said Anisha Shahir Muhoozi, CEO of KCCA. “This partnership aligns with our vision of developing holistic football talent while prioritizing education. We believe that Kyadondo SS, with its strong academic reputation, provides an ideal environment for young players to excel both on and off the field.”
The MOU outlines a range of initiatives, including talent identification, technical training, and scholarship opportunities for promising young players.
KCCA will provide expert coaching and mentorship to the school’s football team, while Kyadondo SS will offer scholarships to talented players selected by the club.
“This partnership is a game-changer for our school,” said Hajji Ismail Waliggo, Head Teacher of Kyadondo SS. “We are excited to work with KCCA to nurture young talent and provide our students with opportunities to pursue their football dreams.”
The signing ceremony was attended by key officials from both institutions, including KCCA’s CEO, technical staff, and Kyadondo SS’s Head Teacher, Board Chairman, and other senior staff.
