Kampala Queens have turned their season around under new head coach Asefa Firew Hailegebreal in the 2024/25 Women Super League.
After a shaky start under Charles Ayiekoh, where they managed only one win in four games, the team has rediscovered their form with four consecutive victories since Hailegebreal took over.
Their recent wins (2-0, 2-0, 1-0, and 2-1) against Rines SS, Amus College, Lady Doves, and Tooro Queens have seen them gather 12 points, making them the best-performing team under the Ethiopian coach.
Kampala Queens now sit second on the table with 18 points, just two behind leaders Kawempe Muslim, who have 20.
With this resurgence, they’re firmly back in the title race.
