KCCA Youth Teams Show Promise at Iteen International Tournament

The KCCA youth teams recently participated in the Iteen International Tournament 2024, held in Kigali, Rwanda, from December 15th to 19th.

The tournament provided a valuable platform for these young footballers to showcase their skills against international competition.

The KCCA U7 team demonstrated exceptional talent and teamwork, securing a commendable third-place finish (Bronze medal).

The U9, U12, and U13-U17 teams also displayed a high level of competitiveness, reaching the quarter-finals of the tournament.

The U12 team delivered notable performances, including a 1-1 draw against Red Sea Sports Academy and a 1-0 victory over Umururi Sports Academy.

The U9 team also showcased their abilities, securing a 2-2 draw with Debes Football Academy and a convincing 3-0 win against Red Sea Sports Academy.

The KCCA contingent was officially flagged off by Board Member Joseph Kirimanyi, representing the Club Chairman, at MTN Omondi Stadium on the morning of December 15th.

This tournament served as an integral part of the KCCA holiday program, offering invaluable international exposure and competitive experience for the young players.

Following the tournament, the holiday program will take a brief Christmas break and resume in January.
