Buhimba United Saints Sign Winger Kisakye John Wesley

Buhimba United Saints FC have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of veteran winger Kisakye John Wesley from Booma FC.

The highly anticipated transfer was officially confirmed this morning during a press conference at the club, where Kisakye was unveiled as the newest member of the Saints.

The winger has signed a one-year contract.

Kisakye brings a wealth of experience to Buhimba, having played for a number of prominent clubs in Ugandan football, including KB Lions, Lweza FC, Express FC, Onduparaka FC, Nyamityobora FC, Entebbe FC, Kajjansi FC, Kitara FC, and most recently, Booma FC.

His career is studded with success, having won the First Division title with KB Lions in 2012, the Regional League with Lweza FC in 2013, the Big League with Lweza FC in 2014, and another Big League title with Kitara FC in 2022.

This impressive track record highlights Kisakye’s proven ability to contribute to winning teams.

The signing comes at a crucial time for Buhimba United Saints FC, who are aiming for promotion to the Uganda Premier League.

Currently sitting fourth on the FUFA Big League table, the club is under the guidance of head coach Paul Nkata, who has instilled a strong belief in the squad.

In addition to their league ambitions, the Saints are also preparing for the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32, with their opponent yet to be determined in the upcoming draw.

Speaking at his unveiling, a visibly excited Kisakye expressed his enthusiasm about joining the club. “I’m delighted to join this beautiful club,” he said. “I hope we can make history together this year.”

Kisakye’s arrival marks the second signing for Buhimba United Saints FC in the January transfer window.

He follows Siraj Ismail, who was unveiled by the club on Sunday.
