Mourners gathered at his family home in Nabbingo on Monday, February 10, for a funeral service and vigil before his final journey to Kaduggala-Mirembe.
The service was filled with tributes from teammates and rugby officials who described Kayondo as a dedicated player with a bright future.
During the burial, URU officials and Kampani Eagles representatives paid their respects, highlighting Kayondo’s passion for the game and his contributions to Ugandan rugby.
Kayondo’s send-off marks the end of a life filled with promise, and the rugby community will continue to honor his memory in upcoming games and activities.
