The iconic Stade Olympic Hammadi Agrebi became a sea of passionate supporters, their cheers echoing the anticipation for the highly anticipated global tournament.
The trophy’s arrival in Tunis followed successful visits to Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria, South Africa, and Al Ahly SC in Cairo, Egypt, each stop igniting fervor amongst African football enthusiasts.
The Espérance faithful, known for their unwavering support, turned out in droves, creating a vibrant spectacle that showcased the club’s deep-rooted passion.
The event was graced by the presence of Espérance’s leadership and the entire squad, led by their esteemed coach, Laurențiu Reghecampf.
The timing was particularly celebratory, coming just after Reghecampf guided his team to a resounding victory in the Tunisian Super Cup, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The FIFA Club World Cup Trophy’s tour will culminate in Casablanca, Morocco, where Wydad AC and their supporters will have the opportunity to experience the excitement before the tournament kicks off in the United States.
