Teen Cranes Set Sights on World Cup Glory: Provisional Squad Named for Kenya Clash

Teen Cranes head coach Sheryl Botes has announced the provisional 32-player squad for the Uganda Teen Cranes, as they prepare for the crucial second qualifying round of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup 2025 against Kenya.

The Teen Cranes, fresh from a resounding 18-1 aggregate victory over Namibia in the first qualifying phase, are brimming with confidence.

The stakes are high as they face Kenya in a two-legged tie, with the first leg scheduled for March 8th at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, and the return leg set for March 16th in Kenya.

The provisional squad features a blend of experienced players and promising young talents, drawn from various clubs across the country.

The FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup 2025 is scheduled to take place in Morocco from October 17th to November 8th, 2025.

The Teen Cranes are determined to secure their place in this prestigious tournament and make Uganda proud.

The team enters the residential camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel to start preparations on Monday 24th February 2025
