The Uganda Hockey Association (UHA) has announced that its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Akamwesi Conference Hall, Akamwesi Mall, Kyebando Gayaza Road.
The meeting, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., will include elections for new office bearers.
According to the official notice issued by UHA General Secretary Stanley Tamale, the agenda will cover key matters such as the presentation of the Chairman’s Report for 2024, the Treasurer’s Financial Report, and the Independent Auditor’s Report.
Delegates will also deliberate on the approval of the 2025 budget, appointment of independent auditors, and regulatory fees before proceeding to the highly anticipated election of office bearers.
According to the notice issued, members wishing to have specific business discussed during the AGM must submit their proposals in writing to the General Secretary and Chairperson by March 14, 2025.
Additionally, all eligible members are required to submit the names of their two delegates for accreditation by March 17, 2025, as only accredited individuals will be allowed into the meeting venue.
The upcoming elections are expected to shape the future of hockey administration in Uganda, with stakeholders keen to see the leadership that will guide the sport forward.
