Aston Villa’s on-loan striker Marcus Rashford is expected to miss the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury sustained prior to their FA Cup semi-final loss to Crystal Palace.
While a late return isn’t impossible, the focus is on his recovery for England’s June internationals against Andorra and Senegal.
Rashford, who has scored four goals in 17 Villa appearances, would only feature in the Tottenham game on May 18th if he recovers in time, as he’s ineligible to play against parent club Manchester United on May 25th.
He recently attended the Eubank Jr vs. Benn boxing match and will address his future later in the summer.
Despite a United contract until 2028, he reportedly doesn’t foresee playing for them under current manager Ruben Amorim.
Rashford was recently recalled to the England squad. The injury is a setback for Villa and England.
