Formula One and the Miami Grand Prix have agreed a 10-year extension, guaranteeing the race will continue until 2041.
South Florida Motorsports, a Miami Dolphins subsidiary, is hosting its fourth grand prix this weekend at Hard Rock Stadium.
F1 President Stefano Domenicali called the extension a “strategic milestone” that strengthens the sport’s growing presence in America.
Miami Grand Prix managing partner Tom Garfinkel highlighted it as a “huge vote of confidence” after just three events.
Last year’s Miami race drew a record 3.1 million US television viewers.
The long-term deal solidifies the event’s place on the F1 calendar and underscores the sport’s commitment to the expanding American fanbase.
