Despite their LaLiga title hopes fading, Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone insists the focus remains on finishing the season strongly before heading to the Club World Cup in the US next month.
Atletico, third in LaLiga, host Real Sociedad on Saturday. While the title is out of reach, Simeone stressed the importance of their remaining four games.
“We have to finish these last four games the best way possible,” he stated, emphasizing the responsibility to their fans.
Simeone acknowledged a dip in form after a strong start, citing key defeats as setbacks.
However, he believes the team is still striving to improve and is focused on a good performance against Real Sociedad.
