Robert Lewandowski is fit to play in Barcelona’s LaLiga match at Espanyol on Thursday, manager Hansi Flick confirmed.
The striker has recovered from a muscle injury that kept him out of recent games.
Barcelona could clinch the LaLiga title this week. If Real Madrid fail to win at Mallorca on Wednesday, a victory for Barca in the city derby against Espanyol on Thursday would secure the championship.
They currently hold a seven-point lead at the top.
Flick lauded his team’s dominant performance in their recent Clasico win against Real Madrid.
He also wished Carlo Ancelotti well in his reported future role with the Brazil national team.
The focus now shifts to the Espanyol clash, where Lewandowski’s return boosts Barcelona’s chances of sealing the LaLiga crown.
