South African forward Lyle Foster is ecstatic after Burnley’s return to the Premier League following a record-breaking Championship season.
The Clarets, managed by Scott Parker, finished second with 100 points.
Foster shared his joy on Instagram, highlighting the team’s achievements: “Promotion Day, 100 points, 30 clean sheets, 16 goals conceded and back to the Premier League. Record-breaking season.”
He expressed gratitude to his teammates and family, adding, “Grateful to be part of this amazing group… Stronger next season.”
Burnley’s promotion was fueled by a 33-game unbeaten run and impressive defensive stats.
Foster featured in 31 games, contributing three goals and five assists. He now looks forward to competing in the Premier League.
