His contract expires June 30th, and he indicated the Fulham game on May 25th will be his last for the club.
De Bruyne criticized the Club World Cup’s timing at the end of the European season, stating it “doesn’t make any sense” given his contract situation.

While linked to MLS, De Bruyne hinted at potentially staying in England due to his family’s situation.
