Doucoure Confirms Everton Departure

Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, 32, announced on Tuesday he’ll leave the club when his contract expires next month.

After five seasons and 165 appearances since his £20 million move from Watford in 2020, Doucoure confirmed his exit on Instagram.

“After five wonderful years, my time at Everton has come to an end,” he shared.

The Mali international, visibly emotional during his final Goodison Park appearance on Sunday, added, “I gave everything… Everton will always be part of my life now. I will be forever a Blue.”
