Guinness Matchday on Tour Set for Grand Premier League Season Finale at UMA Show Grounds

Guinness Matchday on Tour will return to Kampala this Sunday, May 25, for its grand finale, marking the end of the 2024/2025 Premier League season with what organizers promise will be the most electrifying fan experience of the year.

The season-ending event will take place at UMA Show Grounds, starting at 2 PM.

Following a months-long nationwide tour that brought the Premier League experience to fans across Uganda, the final stop brings the action back to the capital with a full-day celebration combining football, music, and entertainment.

Fans will be treated to a live screening of the final round of Premier League matches, ice-cold Guinness, and a vibrant crowd atmosphere.

“This season finale will be one for the books,” said Denise Paula Nazzinda, Brand Manager Premium Beer at Uganda Breweries Limited.

“The Guinness Matchday on Tour has been about celebrating the beautiful game with our fans across Uganda. We’re excited to bring it home in Kampala for the final matchday, and we promise to end the season with nothing short of magic, the Guinness way.”

The event will feature music from DJ Boogie, who is expected to keep energy levels high throughout the day.

Once the matches conclude, popular Ugandan artist Vinka will take the stage for a live performance to cap off the festivities.

Fans can also engage in a range of interactive experiences, including the popular Predict and Win game, football trivia contests, live fan debates, and branded giveaways.

Organizers describe the finale as more than a game screening , calling it a “festival of fandom, friendship, and flavour.”

As the official beer partner of the Premier League, Guinness continues to enhance matchday viewing by blending sports culture with entertainment to create memorable communal experiences for fans.
