Carlo Ancelotti is set to leave Real Madrid after Saturday’s match to become the new head coach of Brazil, starting May 26.
Real Madrid confirmed his departure, expressing immense gratitude for his successful two spells, which yielded 15 trophies including a Champions League and La Liga double.
Ancelotti, whose contract was set to run until 2026, expressed an “eternal” bond with Real Madrid as he embraces this “new adventure.”
He posted on X that his years at the club were “unforgettable,” filled with “emotions, titles, and… pride.”
