Brazilian winger Raphinha has signed a new contract with Barcelona until 2028, declaring his dream to retire at the club.
This follows a standout season where Raphinha was instrumental in Barcelona’s domestic treble win (La Liga, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup).
Initially facing transfer rumors due to financial concerns after a modest first two seasons, Raphinha enjoyed a resurgence, scoring 18 league goals and contributing significantly to their Champions League run this past season.
His stellar form has even put him in contention for the Ballon d’Or.
Raphinha also embraced a leadership role, being named one of Barcelona’s five captains.
“My dream is to be here until the end of my career,” he stated, expressing his commitment to continued success and titles with the club.
