Liverpool manager Arne Slot has been named the 2024/25 Barclays Manager of the Season, a notable achievement in his debut season, even as the city addresses a serious incident during the club’s Premier League Trophy parade.
Slot, who was not present at the LMA awards ceremony, expressed profound gratitude to emergency services and the football community for their response to a car driving into the crowd, injuring over 50.
Leading Liverpool to their second Premier League title and equalling Manchester United’s record of 20 English top-flight titles, Slot’s win completes a treble for Liverpool, with Mohamed Salah and Ryan Gravenberch also winning individual awards.
