Manchester United are on the verge of securing Wolves’ Brazilian forward, Matheus Cunha, after agreeing to meet his £62.5 million release clause.
Wolves initially rejected United’s proposal for a five-year payment plan, but a new agreement will see the fee paid in three installments over two years.
The 26-year-old, who has scored 33 goals in 92 appearances for Wolves since January 2023, now has permission to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical, with the transfer expected to be swift.
