Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has unveiled his final 23-man squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Mozambique (June 4) and Tanzania (June 6).
Notably, several key regulars are absent, suggesting Broos will use these matches to test new talent.
The team also declined an invitation to play Morocco.
The squad features two overseas-based players: defender Samukelo Kabini (Molde FK, Norway) and midfielder Luke Le Roux (IFK Värnamo, Switzerland). Orlando Pirates boasts the largest contingent with nine players, including DStv Diski Challenge rising star Simphiwe “Ben 10” Selepe.
Conversely, the Kaizer Chiefs trio of Bruce Bvuma, Yusuf Maart, and Mduduzi Shabalala, who were in the preliminary squad, did not make the final cut.
