KCCA captain Julius Poloto and Head Coach Jackson Magera have both expressed strong belief in their team’s readiness ahead of the 2025 Stanbic Uganda Cup Final against Vipers.
The match, set for this Saturday at the newly constructed FUFA Stadium in Kadiba, represents a crucial opportunity for the Kasasiro Boys to end their silverware drought.
Coach Magera delivered a confident message during the final build-up to the clash, stating that the team is not heading into the final as mere participants.
“We are fully prepared for Saturday’s final against Vipers SC,” Magera said. “We’re not just showing up to watch the game, we’re going to perform and win. This is our moment, and we believe it’s time to bring the trophy home.”
Team captain Julius Poloto reinforced his coach’s message, emphasizing the team’s mental and physical preparedness and the hunger within the squad.
“Our preparations have been thorough, both mentally and physically,” Poloto said. “We understand the magnitude of this game. The boys are locked in, we know what’s at stake, and we are ready.”
KCCA last won the Uganda Cup in 2018 and are aiming to bring silverware back to Lugogo after several challenging seasons.
With leadership setting the tone and belief running high within the camp, the team enters Saturday’s final determined to reclaim domestic glory.
