Nigeria has claimed the 2025 Unity Cup, defeating Jamaica in a thrilling final that ended 2-2 in regular time before being decided by a perfect penalty shootout.
Debutant Christantus Uche scored the winning penalty for the Super Eagles at Gtech Community Stadium.
Goals from Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze twice put Nigeria ahead, but Jamaica, spurred by Man of the Match Renaldo Cephas, fought back each time with goals from Kaheim Dixon and Jonathan Russell.
With the score locked at 2-2, the match went straight to penalties.
Nigeria converted all their spot kicks, with Uche sealing the victory. The Super Eagles will next face Russia in a friendly match on June 6.
