The Indiana Pacers are heading to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000, besting the New York Knicks 125-108 in Game 6 to clinch the Eastern Conference finals 4-2.
Pascal Siakam was named Eastern Conference Finals MVP, leading the Pacers with 31 points and three blocks in the series-clinching win. He lauded his team’s ability to “find a way” when down.
Tyrese Haliburton also starred for Indiana with 21 points and 13 assists.
Despite 24 points from OG Anunoby, the Knicks were undone by 18 turnovers.
Indiana will now face the Western Conference champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, in the NBA Finals, starting Thursday.
