Antoine Griezmann, France’s 2018 World Cup-winning forward and Atletico Madrid’s all-time top scorer, has extended his contract with the Spanish club until June 30, 2027.
The 34-year-old’s previous deal was set to expire in 2026.
Despite a challenging 2025 season where he struggled for form and his team finished trophyless, Griezmann remains a pivotal figure for Atletico.
He has scored 197 goals for the club across two spells, including a Europa League win in 2018.
Griezmann and Atletico are set to compete in the Club World Cup this summer, with their first match against Paris Saint-Germain on June 15.
