Chelsea are in negotiations with AC Milan to sign French international goalkeeper Mike Maignan.
The Blues are reportedly looking to strengthen their goalkeeping options but are hesitant to meet Milan’s £25 million asking price for the 29-year-old.
Maignan, a regular for Milan since 2021 and France’s first-choice keeper since January 2023, is reportedly open to a move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea has struggled to find a consistent long-term goalkeeper since signing Kepa Arrizabalaga in 2018.
Despite subsequent acquisitions like Edouard Mendy, Robert Sanchez, Djordje Petrovic, and Filip Jorgensen, the club appears to be seeking a definitive solution in Maignan.
