MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 34 points, bringing his series total to 72. His opening basket also marked his 3,000th point for the season, a rare NBA feat.
After losing a close Game 1, the Thunder dominated throughout, with Gilgeous-Alexander emphasizing the team’s relentless effort.
Jalen Williams (19 points), Aaron Wiggins (18), and Chet Holmgren (15) also contributed significantly.
Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton was held to 17 points, and left with a slight limp, but expressed confidence for Game 3, stating, “It’s still a race – first to four. We are going to our home court tied 1-1.”
Game 3 shifts to Indianapolis on Wednesday, June 11 at 8:30 PM ET, marking the city’s first Finals game in 25 years.
