Manchester City have significantly bolstered their squad by signing Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri for £31 million.
The 24-year-old Algerian international has committed to a contract until 2030 and is immediately available for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
Ait-Nouri expressed his excitement, calling the move a “dream come true” and highlighting his eagerness to work with Pep Guardiola.
His arrival follows City’s £46.3 million agreement for AC Milan’s Tijjani Reijnders, adding to a substantial £200 million spent in the January transfer window.
Former Wolves coach Edu Rubio praised Ait-Nouri as a “perfect fit” for Guardiola’s style, citing his technical ability and dribbling.
City are also reportedly in talks to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli before the transfer deadline, as veteran Scott Carson prepares to leave the club.
