Galatasaray announced on Wednesday they’ve begun negotiations with Bayern Munich attacker Leroy Sané.
The 29-year-old German, whose contract with Bayern expires this season, is expected to arrive in Turkey by Thursday for a medical.
Sané, who joined Bayern in 2020 from Manchester City, scored 11 goals this season.
While Arsenal and other clubs reportedly showed interest, Galatasaray’s quick move aims to secure the winger for their upcoming Champions League campaign, having just won the Turkish Süper Lig.
This potential transfer is set to be one of the summer’s biggest surprises.
