Former City Oilers captain Ivan Muhwezi was unveiled and featured in his debut for Namuwongo Blazers as they outclassed KCCA Panthers 83-57 in a National Basketball League clash at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.
The match, broadcast live on NBS Sport, marked another dominant performance by the Blazers, who have now won all 13 games this season.
Muhwezi scored 7 points and added 2 rebounds, capping off a well-received introduction to the Namuwongo faithful.
He was one of two new players introduced before tip-off, alongside Anthony Chukwurah, as the Blazers seek to deepen their already potent roster.

Joel Lukoji led the scoring for the Blazers with 16 points, followed by Innocent Ochera with 12 points and 5 steals, while James Okello added 10 points and 8 rebounds.
Moses Mugisha and Tony Drileba also contributed 9 points each.
Muhwezi sealed the night with a late three-pointer that extended the final margin to 26 points.
With this victory, Namuwongo Blazers remain top of the standings with 26 points, while KCCA Panthers sit fourth with 23 points from 15 games.
